Project Summary

The South Bay cities of Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Hermosa Beach, and the Southern California Association of Governments are partnering with Caltrans for improvements in the local transportation system by developing a Living Streets Design Manual and the Aviation Boulevard Multimodal Corridor Plan, which will customize the Los Angeles County Living Streets Manual and create a framework for potential improvements on Aviation Boulevard through the South Bay. The draft Living Streets Design Manual and Aviation Boulevard Concept recommendations will be presented to the City Council in winter 2019 for discussion and approval.
