Parking Permits and Services

Street Sweeping

As part of the City’s COVID-19 response, street sweeping restrictions will be temporarily suspended in Hermosa Beach until further notice. The community is encouraged to continue to move vehicles when possible so that street sweeping and cleaning activities can continue.

Parking Permit Renewals

2019 residential/annual parking permits will continue to be recognized through May 31, 2020 and enforcement of new 2020 residential parking permits, will be delayed until at least May 31, 2020.

You are encouraged to renew your permit online at hermosabeach.gov/citydirectory or by mail. Please call the Finance Cashier’s Office at (310) 318-0217 for those permits that are not currently available online.

Temporary Green Zones

The City of Hermosa Beach implemented a series of temporary, free short-term parking zones in its commercial areas today to help safely support curbside and takeout orders from local restaurants and businesses. If you are going to pick something up or make a to-go order, you can park in one of these spaces marked with a temporary parking zone sign affixed to a meter or sign post for up to 15 minutes and you do not need to pay the meter when parked at one of these temporary parking spaces.

Please help us in keeping our streets safe and avoiding a parking ticket by parking in one of these locations or one of our normal green zone spaces and avoiding double parking or stopping in the roadway.

All other parking enforcement will continue as normal.
