General Information

“Sunny” is a generative AI chatbot powered by Citibot. It is designed to answer basic City-related user questions based on information provided on the official City of Hermosa Beach website (www.hermosabeach.gov).

Limitations

While the City strives to provide accurate and up to date information through its website and “Sunny”, we cannot guarantee the accuracy and/or completeness of the information provided. The City will regularly review queries and responses and provide feedback to Citibot to continually improve the responses. 

“Sunny” has only been trained on data from www.hermosabeach.gov. It will not be able to provide responses to questions related to information not on the website. 

"Sunny" will default to an "I don't know" response when it is unable to answer a question.

Privacy

Citibot manages privacy data with utmost care. Under no circumstances will any Personally Identifiable Information be shared, sold, leased, licensed, or transferred in any way to a third party for any marketing purpose or other purpose. 

The only data Citibot collects is the queries submitted by users and the responses those queries generate.

Citibot generated data for its customer is stored in its secure cloud storage facility exclusively for its customer. The data generated by "Sunny" is the property of the City of Hermosa Beach and will be stored indefinitely until such time that the City of Hermosa Beach elects to purge any of the data. 

Service Requests

An integration has been configured to allow the submission of a limited number of Go Hermosa service requests through “Sunny”. If the integration is not configured for a request a user is trying to submit, the user will be provided with direction to go to Go Hermosa and submit the request themselves.
