CIP 699, Parking Lot C Structure Improvements includes, but is not limited to, structural repairs and rehabilitation of the City of Hermosa Beach Parking Structure.

Project Highlights

• Concrete repairs
• Installation of waterproof coating
• Installation of new guardrails and barrier cables
• Improvements in the electrical room
• Replacement of light fixtures
• Installation of new sump pumps and a new level transducer
• Power washing of concrete surfaces
• Restriping
• Aesthetic repairs to the parking structure

Project Status and Schedule

The Lot C Parking Structure will fully re-open to the public for parking on Wednesday morning, April 8, 2026.

All levels of the parking structure will be open, and both the stairs and elevator will be fully accessible.

The contractor will continue working on final punch list items, but these will not impact public parking.

Important Notes

Parking Lot C employee permit holders may continue to park at any yellow parking meters, including those along Hermosa Avenue, during this transition period. Beginning in May, employee parking will return to top level of Lot C only. Please note that street sweeping restrictions remain in effect on Monday and Tuesday mornings in these areas.
