Visit the Police Department's House Check Programs page for information on how to sign up to have Police and/or vetted volunteers from the City's Volunteers in Policing (VIP) program check in on seniors and those with Alzheimer's disease; as well as exterior residence checks for those on vacation:

• Homeward Bound Program - assists in reuniting those with Alzheimer's disease with family members in case a senior is found away from home or their care facility.
• Vacation Check Program - sign up for exterior residence checks by the Police Department while away on vacation
• You Are Not Alone Program - sign up to have the Police Department conduct periodic well-being checks on seniors
