• Contact the Police Records Office at (310) 318-0360 (answered 24/7) to determine whether a vehicle release form is required and if any fees must be paid prior to visiting the tow yard.

• Pay any applicable fees and obtain a receipt at either the Finance Cashier Office (City Hall Room 101, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA  90254 - open Monday to Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) or at the Police Station front counter (540 Pier Avenue - open 24/7 - exact change required).

• If necessary, obtain a vehicle release form from the Police Station front counter. Impounded bicycles and scooters will be released by the Police Department.

• Pick up your vehicle at the tow yard.  Applicable towing, storage and other fees may be charged by the towing company prior to vehicle release.
