On July 28^th, the City Council recognized the generous contribution of the HB Rotary Club through its check presentation to fund an armored protective vest for K9 Arco. The donation demonstrates the Rotary Club's continued commitment to supporting public safety and providing critical equipment that helps protect the City's police K9 during law enforcement operations.

Volunteers Needed – Hermosa Beach Triathlon

The Hermosa Beach Triathlon is looking for volunteers to help support race day on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Opportunities are available in athlete support, course operations, transition area support, registration, water stations, and finish line activities. Volunteer shifts are available throughout the race day, with most shifts taking place between approximately 5:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
