The City of Hermosa Beach, in partnership with the LA Galaxy, will host the LA Galaxy Soccer Celebration, a multi-day fan experience, from Tuesday, July 14 through Sunday, July 19, 2026, on the beach South of the Hermosa Pier – Commercial Zone.
The family-friendly experience, which is free and open to the public, will span four event days (on July 14, 15, 18 and 19) featuring big‑screen, live FIFA World Cup 26™ semi-final and final match viewings, player & alumni appearances, youth programming, music, giveaways, limited-edition merchandise and immersive sponsor activations. No events are scheduled on Thursday, July 16, or Friday, July 17.
“Hermosa Beach and outdoor activities go together like sand and surf,” said Hermosa Beach Mayor Mike Detoy. “We’re proud to again partner with the LA Galaxy to bring our community and visitors the chance to experience world-class soccer, just steps away from Hermosa’s world-famous beaches.”

Event setup will begin on Sunday, July 12, and equipment will remain in place until teardown on Monday, July 20.
As part of the LA Galaxy Soccer Celebration, the Galaxy also will host a series of youth soccer sessions in Hermosa Beach, providing opportunities for young players to learn the game in a fun, inclusive environment led by Galaxy Youth coaches. City staff will continue working closely with LA Galaxy, public safety agencies and nearby event organizers to coordinate logistics, ensure public safety and minimize impacts to residents and businesses. All residents and businesses within a 500-foot radius of the event site will be directly notified of the event in advance.
