Hermosa Beach Mayor Rob Saemann will host a community-wide Town Hall Forum this Thursday, January 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Hermosa Beach City Council Chambers, located at 1315 Valley Drive.
All members of the public are welcome, and light refreshments will be provided. RSVP is optional, and Zoom participation information is available here for those unable to attend in-person.
The Forum will be moderated by Mayor Saemann and conducted in question-and-answer fashion, giving community members the chance to ask direct questions and engage with the Mayor. In addition to addressing new inquiries from attendees, Mayor Saemann will also provide follow-up responses to questions raised during the City’s January 15 State of the City address.
“This Town Hall is open to all, and I’ll be there to answer any questions that come up – as well as closing the loop on questions from our recent State of the City,” said Mayor Saemann. “I’m looking forward to continuing that conversation, hearing new questions from the community and making sure everyone has the answers they need.”
Mayor Saemann recently hosted a November 13, 2025 Public Safety Forum addressing community safety issues with Hermosa Beach Police Department (HbPD) Chief Landon Phillips, as well as a Mayor’s Town Hall Forum on October 6, 2025, which provided residents an opportunity to engage directly with the Mayor on a range of community concerns.
Residents who wish to RSVP for the January 29 Town Hall Forum may email rsaemann@hermosabeach.gov with the subject line: “RSVP – January 29 Mayor’s Town Hall.” For more information, please visit the City website.
