Construction Notice | Transpacific Fiber Optic Cables Project - Longfellow Avenue

Dear Residents,
🚧Construction Notice: Drake Traffic Control Services will be utilizing a full street closure on Longfellow Avenue between Hermosa Ave and Palm Dr. Work will include access to existing street vaults to clear conduit for future subsea fiber optic cable pulling. No excavation or demolition is to occur.
Work will begin Monday, November 10, 2025, and complete by Monday, November 17, 2025. Work is only to occur on weekdays Monday through Friday, from 9am-3pm, excluding Veterans Day.
What to expect:
✔️Temporary parking restrictions on Longfellow Avenue only during work hours.
✔️ A full street closure on Longfellow between Hermosa Ave and Palm Dr.
✔️ Local access will be maintained for residents.
✔️ Construction vehicles and personnel present throughout work area.
