Mayor Rob Saemann will host a Public Safety Forum on Thursday, November 13 from 6-8PM in the City Hall Council Chambers (1315 Valley Drive). Potential topics will include, but are not limited to, e-bike safety, homelessness, traffic enforcement, and neighborhood policing. In person attendance is encouraged but for those that are not able to attend in person, zoom participation is available (Zoom ID: 844 0158 7640 Passcode: 871419 Toll Free: 833-548-0276). Addressing ParkMobile Issues

City staff identified and replaced about 150 single-space ParkMobile parking meter stickers (primarily in the Downtown area) incorrectly show locations other than Hermosa Beach. All affected stickers have been removed, and the public should continue to pay for parking via credit card or coin at those meters. New stickers showing the correct Hermosa Beach zones will be placed in the coming weeks.

City Hall and the Community Center offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. Street sweeping and PCH tow restrictions will not be enforced, but all other parking regulations remain in effect. Trash collection will proceed as usual, and no construction work is allowed that day.

The City will also host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony at 10:30 a.m., November 11th, on the Community Center East Lawn in honor of all those who have served in our nation’s armed forces. All are welcome to attend, and more information is available on the City’s website.
