🚧 Construction Notice - Slater Waterproofing, Inc., a contractor for the City of Hermosa Beach, will begin structural repairs and improvements at the Lot C Parking Structure, beginning Monday, October 6th through January 2026. Construction hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Work will include: high priority structural concrete repairs, installation of new guardrails and barrier cables, installation of stair canopy, improvements in the electrical room, replacement of light fixtures, installation of new sump pumps, power washing of concrete surfaces, installation of waterproof traffic coating and restriping. What to expect:
✓ Parking structure will remain open with reduced parking supply.

✓ Construction will be phased to reduce parking impacts. Temporary closure of the 2nd and 3rd floors, one at a time.

✓ Employees with permits will be allowed to park in any available space throughout the structure.

✓ Temporary stair access closures.

✓ Intermittent loud construction noises (especially during demolition).

✓ Vibrations from construction equipment.

✓ Minimal dust or smell.

✓ Temporary changes in pedestrian and vehicular access.
