National Preparedness Month
Each September, communities across the nation highlight the importance of emergency readiness. Here in Hermosa Beach, we’re reminding residents that preparation doesn’t have to be complicated—small actions today can make a big difference tomorrow. Create a family plan, gather essential supplies, protect your home, and stay connected to reliable information sources.
You’ll find a wealth of tools, tips, and step-by-step guides at www.hermosabeach.gov/beready to help you get started and stay on track.
Preparedness Month is also a time to reflect on the dedication of first responders who stand ready to protect us in times of crisis. Their service and sacrifice remind us why resilience matters—and why we all share a role in building a safer Hermosa Beach together.
