NOTICE INVITING BIDS

Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive electronic bids until 11:00 AM on February 12, 2025; at which time the electronic bids will be publicly opened at the City Council Chambers at 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 and posted on Planet Bids for CIP No. 699 PARKING STRUCTURE LOT “C” IMPROVEMENTS.
There will be a pre-bid meeting at 11 AM on January 30, 2025; at 1301 Hermosa Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254. The City will respond to questions from prospective Bidders at that time. Each Bidder is strongly encouraged to attend the meeting. Regardless of attendance, each prospective Bidder shall familiarize itself with the plans and work site(s) to satisfy itself that it has the abilities and resources to complete the work.
The project includes, but is not limited to, concrete repair/rehabilitation of the City of Hermosa Beach North Pier Parking Structure. The project includes repairs for concrete work, waterproofing enhancement, installing new guardrails, new barrier cables, conditioning of the air in the electrical room, maintenance/repairs, new sump pumps, new level transducer, power washing of the concrete surfaces, restriping, and aesthetic repairs of the parking structure and other related work to complete the work per project’s plans and specifications. The engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $1,800,000 License requirement is a valid State of California Contractors License Class “A” California Contractor’s License.
The duration of the project is thirty-five (35) working days. All bids must be submitted electronically on Planet Bids Portal, accessible through the City’s webpage at https://www.hermosabeach.gov/ourgovernment/ city-clerk/bids-and-proposals where you must first register as a vendor through our Planet Bids Portal. Contract Documents, plans, and specifications will be available for review on Planet Bids. All relevant materials shall be obtained from the link above.
