NOTICE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. ORD-24-1481

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 23, 2024, the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach (“City”) will consider the adoption of Ordinance No. ORD-24-1481.

Ordinance No. ORD-24-1481 amends various sections of Title 17 (Zoning) of the Hermosa Beach Municipal Code for Housing Element- related zoning changes. Specifically, the ordinance makes modifications to the standards for mixed-use developments, review processes, reducing multi-family residential parking requirements, and includes an explicit minimum density requirement for housing element sites. Ordinance No. ORD-24-1481 was introduced for first reading by the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach at a regular meeting held on July 9, 2024.
