NOTICE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. ORD-24-1473

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 23, 2024 the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach (“City”) will consider the adoption of Ordinance No. ORD-24-1473.

Ordinance No. ORD-24-1473 amends certain sections of Title 17 (Zoning) of the Hermosa Beach Municipal Code to further clarify the City’s regulations and 
prohibitions on short term vacation rentals and finds the same exempt from the  California Environmental Quality Act. Specifically, the ordinance expands the definition of advertisement to reflect new features on various online platforms and clarify that if there is competing information on an advertisement, the lesser amount of time shall govern. 

Ordinance No. ORD-24-1473 was introduced for first reading by the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach at its regular meeting held on December 12, 2023.
