NOTICE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 23-1465
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 11, 2023 the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach (“City”) will consider the adoption of Ordinance No. 23-1465.
Ordinance No. 23-1465 proposes to adopt by reference the Los Angeles County Fire Code (Title 32 of the Los Angeles County Code) with certain changes and amendments and finding the action exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act. Pursuant to sections 17958.7 and 18941.5 of the Health and Safety Code, the City has proposed local amendments reasonably necessary because of local climatic, geological or topographical conditions. Violations of the proposed Fire Code are dependent on that scope and nature of the violation.
Ordinance No. 23-1465 was introduced for first reading by the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach at its regular meeting held on June 13, 2023.
