NOTICE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 23-1464
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 11, 2023 the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach (“City”) will consider the adoption of Ordinance No. 23-1464.
Ordinance No. 23-1464 proposes to add Chapter 2.76 of the Hermosa Beach Municipal Code re-establishing a Civil Service Board in the City and finding the action exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act. This ordinance re-establishes the Civil Service Board in the City pursuant to the approved Hermosa Beach Personnel Rules and Regulations for Civil Service Employees in the City. The Civil Service Board will review and approve job classification sin the City and will handle future duties as determined by the City Council and, if applicable, the City’s various labor groups.
Ordinance No. 23-1464 was introduced for first reading by the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach at its regular meeting held on June 13, 2023.
