NOTICE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 23-1463
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 11, 2023 the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach (“City”) will consider the adoption of Ordinance No. 23-1463.
Ordinance No. 23-1463 proposes to amend Chapter 12.16 of the Hermosa Beach Municipal Code establishing an outdoor dining program in the public right-of-way and making substantive and procedural changes to the issuance and renewal of encroachment permits authorizing outdoor dining and finding the action exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act. This ordinance establishes size, operational and design guidelines for outdoor dining encroachments on Pier Plaza, on-street dining decks, and other off-Plaza and off-street encroachments for dining in the City.
Ordinance No. 23-1463 was introduced for first reading by the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach at its regular meeting held on June 13, 2023.
