NOTICE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 23-1459

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HERMOSA BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 1.10.040 (A) OF THE HERMOSA BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCLUDE VIOLATIONS OF TITLE 15 (BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION AND CHAPTER 8.24 (NOISE CONTROL) IN LIST OF VIOLATIONS SUBJECT TO ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION PROCEDURES AND FINDING THE SAME EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT.

Notice is hereby given that on March 28, 2023, the City Council of the City of Hermosa Beach (“City”) adopted Ordinance No. 23-1459, amending Section 1.10.040 Hermosa Beach Municipal Code and finding the same exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act. 23-1459

This Ordinance makes violations of Title 15 (Buildings and Construction) and Chapter 8.24 (Noise Control) subject to the Administrative Citation procedures found in Chapter 1.10.

The Ordinance will take effect thirty days after its adoption. To obtain a full understanding of the Ordinance, it should be read in its entirety.  A certified copy of the full text of the Ordinance is posted in the City Clerk’s office at Hermosa Beach City Hall, 1315 Valley Drive, 2nd floor, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254, and on the City’s website at http://www.hermosabeach.gov.
