Hermosa Avenue Update

The contractor hired by the City of Hermosa Beach for the Hermosa Avenue Improvement Project has completed paving and upcoming work for the week of 4/29 will include work on striping parking stalls along Hermosa Avenue  and installing the high-visibility, decorative crosswalks at the intersection of Pier and Hermosa Avenue. A notice of the construction work for Downtown Hermosa Beach was provided to all businesses in the vicinity of the work. 

Please note that to minimize traffic delays, work this week at the intersection of Pier and Hermosa Avenue will occur overnight Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 10 PM to 6 AM and will include a closure of the intersection to vehicles (pedestrian access will be maintained).
