Hermosa Avenue Update

The contractor hired by the City of Hermosa Beach for the Hermosa Avenue Improvement Project has completed paving and upcoming work for the week of 4/1 will include work on striping lane markings and crosswalks along Hermosa Avenue. Work hours will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Traffic lanes may be closed at any given time during construction; however, there will be one lane open to traffic at all times. 

Please use extra caution: While there are reflector tabs placed along the street with the new pavement, please exercise additional caution when driving or walking along Hermosa Avenue between 10th and 26th Streets as crews must wait approximately two weeks for the pavement to cure before installing permanent striping, stop lines, and crosswalks.
