Skate Park
The Skate Park is open for drop-in use. Skateboards, in-line skates, and scooters permitted. Helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads are required. In-line skaters must also wear wrist guards.
8:00am-8:00pm daily
Skateboarding Camp - Park Closures
The skate park will be closed to the public for exclusive use by the City's BeachSports Skate Camp from 9am to 2pm on the following days:
- November 22, 24-26
- December 22, 23, 26, 29, 30
- January 19
- February 9-13 and 16
Holiday Closures
- Thursday 11/27/25 (Thanksgiving)
- Wednesday 12/24/25 beginning at 12pm (Christmas Eve)
- Thursday 12/25/25 (Christmas Day)
- Wednesday 12/31/25 beginning at 12pm (New Year's Eve)
- Thursday 1/1/26 (New Year's Day)
The skate park is closed the first Tuesday of each month at 2pm for cleaning, staff will reopen the park when the concrete is dry.
The City of Hermosa Beach has over 20 parks and parkettes, including Valley Park and South Park listed above, all offering residents green space for picnics and outings.
