DESCRIPTION:<p>Due to COVID-19, the City will not have it's annual Veterans Day Commemoration and Candlelight Ceremony in 2020. However, we hope you will join us in honoring our Veterans by visiting the Hermosa Beach Veterans Memorial on the east lawn of the Community Center, 710 Pier Avenue between 11am-sundown. </p><p>There will be a "Veterans Are Timeless" showcase honoring Veterans with a special connection to Hermosa Beach. </p><p>We also invite you to bring a letter of appreciation and support for our military, past and present. The City will submit the letters for distribution through organizations such as the Vietnam Veterans of America and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and to have on display at future Veterans Day events. Please address the letter generically. Some examples of this may be ‘Dear Hero’ or ‘Dear Troops’.</p><p direction-ltr="" align-center="" para-style-body"="">&nbsp;ALL VISTORS MUST WEAR A MASK AND MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING.</p><p>For more information, please call the Community Resources Department at (310) 318-0280.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
