The City of Hermosa Beach, DoStuff, and MUBI are taking over <strong>the exact gym used in <em>Carrie</em></strong> for a full-blown retro prom and a big-screen screening of Brian De Palma's horror masterpiece.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Here's (some of) what's going down:</strong><br><br>Doors 7:00pm</p><ul>    <li>Live Band&nbsp;<em>Hiatus</em>&nbsp;presented by South Bay Music Connection</li>    <li>Prom-style photo booth to capture your peak '70s moment</li>    <li>Costume contest - go bold, win roses and a MUBI prize pack</li>    <li>Food &amp; Beverage Concessions available through Leadership Hermosa Beach </li>    <li>Guided tour of filming locations</li>    <li>Prom-night surprises we're keeping under wraps</li></ul><p>Movie 8:30pm: Film screening in the Hermosa Beach Community Theatre (Rated R - 1 Hour 28 Minutes)</p><p>Costumes encouraged. Think: feathered hair, velvet suits, floor length polyester.
