About the Commission
The Public Works Commission reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on all capital improvement projects, assists in the development and updating of design guidelines for public improvements, and addresses other matters referred to the Commission by the City Council. Five members are appointed by the City Council to staggered four-year terms. Members must be qualified electors of the City. The Commission is staffed by the Public Works Department.
